Commercial Description:
A delicate balance of toasted malt and fresh hops give this medium-bodied German style lager an intriguing complex flavor. A creamy head, deep golden color and an impressive hop bouquet make this a very special beer.

Poured a clear copper color with a fizzy white head that didn’t provide much lacing. The aroma was toasted malt with a bit of floral hops. The flavor was toasted malt, caramel and some hops. Somewhat fizzy mouthfeel.

16 oz bottle. Poured a clear orange color. Head was off white with good retention. Smelled of malty caramel and sweet corn with a dash of brown sugar and a whiff of light hops. Slightly sweet on the tongue with malty brown sugar, toffee, noble hop, and cooked vegetable flavors. So so.

Amber with good head / Sour malt nose / Medium body, with spritzy but not objectionable carbonation / Flavors of malt, burnt sugar / Spritz dominates light finish

Now this a damn good lager. On par with Lakefront Riverwest. Very crisp and clean. They never get warm because they go down so fast and smooth. From the Beer of the Month Club. Good choice.

Bottle. Poured a clear cloudy amber color with a thin white head. Very slight lacing. Sweet caramel aroma. Good mouthfeel. Flavor is mostly caramel, but more hops than I would have imagined. Would be a nice session beer, in my opinion.

From a bottle pours nice amber color with lots of off-white head. Kind of a mild taste with a quick aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours with a nice amber/copper color with a medium head. Aromas of malts and some hops. Flavors are very smooth and buttery, with caramel, some hops and subtle sweet fruit. This is a very nice though not typical Amber beer. Extremely well constructed.
