Commercial Description:
A delicate balance of toasted malt and fresh hops give this medium-bodied German style lager an intriguing complex flavor. A creamy head, deep golden color and an impressive hop bouquet make this a very special beer.

16 oz bottle - Pours hazy copper with a one finger head. It has a mild caramel malt aroma. The caramel malt flavor carried with it some well balanced mild hops. It’s very easy to drink and makes a decent session brew.

Poured from a 16 ounce bottle into a pint glass, amber with a small tan head. Aroma was faint. Taste was of malt and caramel with a slight bitterness. Nothing special.

Sprecher’s oldest style of beer. Pours a clear golden amber with a medium thick white head. Aroma of smoked barley malt and nuts. Taste of sweet bread, walnuts and good mix of hops. A little yeast aftertaste and then a clean finish. A good brew.

Thanks for the bottle, Steve! Poured clear, bright reddish-brown, bubbly with a lacy white head. Malty nose. Sweetness of caramel, citrusy and a little allspice or clove. Finishes nice and bitter. Good!

Pours a glowing golden orange, with little to no head. Nice soft sweet bicuity sweetness, with hints of nuts and honey. Medium carbonation with a nice sweet malt and biscuity flavor finished with a mild english hop like finish.

16 oz bottle. Poured clear medium amber with a nice initial cap of white head that receded to a film in a minute or so. Aroma found toasted caramel with a nice citrus presence (oranges primarily)... quite pleasant.
Flavor picked up toasty caramel, a hint of marshmallow, cereal notes, and a low-ish level of floral bitterness. Smooth on the palate with the mild bitterness.. a touch soapy on the back-end. Decent brew.

16 oz. bottle. Amber/copper color with a frothy off-white head. Spots of lacing. Cereal malt and floral/fruit aromas. Off-sweet grain malt flavor, with some apple and a bit of mild citrus hoppiness. Medium bodied with steady carbonation. A fairly good tasting lager, but way overpriced in this area.
