Commercial Description:
A delicate balance of toasted malt and fresh hops give this medium-bodied German style lager an intriguing complex flavor. A creamy head, deep golden color and an impressive hop bouquet make this a very special beer.

16oz bottle acquired in trade with Ughsmash (thanks!). Poured a medium and clear amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of a light skunky/mustiness with bananas and soem citrus. Tastes of citrus, caramel and a trace of honey.

A light, cloudy, gold, amber beer from WI. Light malt / fruity aroma. A zesty / high carb, light fruit front end and a bitter end. Malt taste is lighter than I expected. Not as balanced of aftertaste as I would like and thus lowered the overall score a bit.

This one had a nice dark amber color with little head. The malt was there, but smooth, not heavy. The hops were bitter with a slight citrus and almost not balanced but OK. A good session brew.

on tap. pours a nice amber color with a thin off-white head that was not quick to fade. the aroma wasn’t as strong as i’d expected (or as strong as the previous drink i had that evening), but i could pick up on the hops and a hint of malt. the taste was nicely hoppy and carbonated. there was a good bite at the front and the finish was slightly sweet.

Hoppy and a little bitter. Good aftertaste. I taste wheat. The citrus is mild.

Golden amber color. Smell of hops, caramel, roasted malt and hints of citrus zest. Tastes the same but with spice and a little citrus. Bitter at the end that is really refreshing.

I’m still not sure if I liked this beer or not. Even after trying it several times. The aroma is clearly hoppy. Suprisingly hoppy in fact for a lager. Appearance was amber in color with a slight bit of haze and a nice looking off-white head with decent lacing. Mouthfeel wasn’t bad. Nothing extraordinary, but no complaints either. Flavor was a bit sour, some bitterness with the hops but not nearly enough balance for my liking. I can drink one of these, but more that one in one sitting? I doubt it.

Hazy dark orange color - thin white head – nose of banana , vanilla bean , and slight skunk – taste has some skunk , banana , lemon peel / lemon , and sour honey quality - dry creamy sparkly body – aftertaste light banana , acidic – tastes more like a Hefe-Weiss
