Decided to go for this after I didn’t partake in it after the tour. Pours a very nice slightly hazed amber with a big puffy offwhite head that laces. Aromas are nice light carmel malts balanced with decent florals and citrus with a touch of gumball sweetness. Initial is light bodied, a touch toasted cereal, carmel, amd toffee balanced with a light bitterness and subtle inviting citrus. Finishes nicely, light malty sweetness finishes and is pretty good. nuplastikk (1205), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 4, 2009 16oz bottle. Filtered orange tan color. Malty and sweet, with minimal hop balance. Pretty straightforward stuff, a cut above macro-swill. Smooth and medium bodied, with some amber malt tastes. Drinkable and sessionable, but nothing that Id seek out. aetheon (60), Beer Dungeon, Minnesota, USA

This didnt blow me away... Up front, the sweet malts came on a bit too strong, and the hops in the finish didnt come on strong enough... Maybe it’s just a clash of the style with my prefences.... I like most Sprecher beers i’ve had, this one just wasnt for me... wench (30), st. paul, Minnesota, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 27, 2008 Dug it. Malty nose, hardly any indication of the hops to follow. Flavor is pretty mild in malt, but the finish gives a nice hop presence that surprising and pleasing. Sprecher surprises, and disappoints, then surprises again. DrDavid (957), Johnson, Vermont, USA

Served in shaker- poured light amber copper, low carbonation of tiny bubbles, one finger tan head formed and said hello to Greg Jennings for me. Aroma of a light caramel malt with notes of hops, bread. Hits the mouth with a medium body, malt comes through cleanly, a touch of spice in the middle, finish is clean and begging of another sip. Suggested pairings- 8 hour slow cooked beer brats, butter venison burgers, and homemade cheesy scallop potatoes while watching The Pack take on Peyton "The greatest thing since sliced bread- during the regular season ONLY" Manning and the rest of his overblown squad. GO PACK GO!!!
