Oct 12, 2008 16 oz. bottle from daknole. Thanks Dakine! Pours a golden red color with a one finger head, moderate retention and low lacing. Very strong toasted malt aroma with some light floral hop notes. Taste is toasted malts, grain, caramel and cinnamon-like spices. Almost like a pumpkin spice ale. Medium bodied with thin spots here and there.

Oct 5, 2008 Great rich caramel aroma with very light baking spices. Flavor is reminiscent of roasted vegetables with a nice hop finish.

Sep 20, 2008 Brought back from Milwaukee by my friend Nick Wight...thanks. Pours a clear golden/amber color with a very small head. Aroma is extremely grainy, crackers. I smell corn meal. Flavor is malty and some corn with some good hop balance. A very interesting and tasty beer. Crisp and clean mouthfeel.

Aug 31, 2008 Updated: Sep 3, 2008SIxteen ounce bottle from Biggs in Mason. Appealing sweet and spicy aroma, big off-white head with minimal lacing, medium to dark amber/red color, nice hoppy/spicy flavor with enoug malt sweetness to keep things balanced. This was a good choice for the Labor Day weekend cookout I attended and a good hot weather brew: not heavy but with anough flavor and character to make things interesting. This was the first Sprecher brew I’ve had and I look forward to trying others

Aug 3, 2008 Bottle. Pours orange with an off white head. Arom ais caramel, butterscotch, and floral hops. Medium body. Flavor is toasty, with caramel, honey, and floral hops. Pretty good.

Jul 12, 2008 Bottle. Goodbar Beer Club. Nose is honey & hot dogs w. mustyness. Odd to say the least. Flavor is caramel , some noble hop, toffee. Somewhat cloying with a bunch of honey in the finish.
