Jan 2, 2008 Cloudy honey colored pour with short lived head. Smell is kind of a funky sweet malt. Not particularly inviting and perhaps on its way downhill. Taste is same funky off-flavored malt. Kind of like a pint of gauzy butterscotch goodness. I can’t get past the smell enough to take more than a couple sips of this, but I can see how some might like it...

Dec 31, 2007 A very aromatic beer. The aromas of cinnamon, apples, and caramel jump out. Flavor is spicy and fruity with a nice hop background. Some carbonation might help the palate. Alcohol seems higher than 5% and provides a nice warming effect. An interesting and well crafted beer.

Dec 30, 2007 Updated: Dec 31, 2007Bottle: The aroma consists of butterscotch, light fruit, and faint grain. It pours a transparent amber with a small off-white head. The flavor starts with a pretty intense sour fruitiness. The finish has faint notes of butterscotch and grain that struggle to get thru the sourness. Light-bodied with a slightly watery mouthfeel. Pretty rough.

Dec 19, 2007 Bottle from JUngle Jim’s. Poured clear amber color with a large frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate sour citrus aroma. Medium body with lively carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable smooth brew.
