Commercial Description:
A delicate balance of toasted malt and fresh hops give this medium-bodied German style lager an intriguing complex flavor. A creamy head, deep golden color and an impressive hop bouquet make this a very special beer.

Good looking beer, pouring a bright orange body with a large spongey head. The aroma has caramel, vanilla, and quiet floral scents. In flavor it’s quite bready and has a drop of honey, a splash of caramel syrup, and a mild floral/herbal bitterness to balance it out. Quite quaffable.

Note: The current beer picture is a BAd one, having "RateBeer" splashed across the bottle, worthy of some anal retentive beer rating site. Are folk really so worried that their beer photos will be stolen without credit that they have to present an unclear picture? If so, let someone else add them, please.

Orange hazy color. Nice malty honey scent. Light on the tongue. Mildy maltiness followed by yeast floral mouthful.

(16 oz. bottle via trade with <A HREF=http://www.ratebeer.com/ViewUser.asp?UserID=3 target=blank>EithCubes, thanks Mike!) Quite smooth and nice...Pours clear darkish amber with one finger of stout, firm biscuit head that becomes a little globby after receding. Aroma of light egg, vanilla and caramel maltiness. Mouthfeel smooth, very lightly prickly, just about the right amount of heft for the style. Flavor of light egg and caramel malt with a tiny bit of bitterness overlaying and providing a little bite through the finish. Pretty nice example of a Vienna.

Pours a golden amber color with a light white head. The beer is very clear. Smells of carmel and hops. Has a bitter, grassy taste, with hints of carmel and malt in the background.

Pours cloudy amber with some carbonation. Not much head, but what is there is creamy. Mild hop flavors with well-balanced malt. Very tasty. I don’t usually like amber lagers. Decent alcohol kick too. It’s a good session brew.

16 oz. bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a small off white head that disappears quickly. The aroma is medium caramel malts and faint hoppiness. The flavor is caramel malts, light roasted character, faint earthy hops, and light fruitiness. Medium light body. Not bad, just not exiting.

Special Amber is a sweetly hopped golden fizzy brew with a butterscotch dipped hop aroma,
