fiulijn (5880), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Jul 28, 2007 Draught at Hop Devil, NYC, as Sprecher Bavarian Ale Golden color. Malt aroma. Good malt taste, smooth. Average bitterness. Refreshing. CaptainCougar (4663), Rockville, Maryland, USA Dec 1, 2002 Semi-sweet and moderately bitter. Toasted oat aroma and copper colored body. The finish is smooth, but there is nothing too spectacular here. hopdog (4645), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 17, 2007 16oz bottle acquired in trade with Ughsmash (thanks!). Poured a medium and clear amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of a light skunky/mustiness with bananas and soem citrus. Tastes of citrus, caramel and a trace of honey. muzzlehatch (4424), Burlington, Vermont, USA Sep 1, 2002 Thickish, chunky head with some lacing tops a medium-amber translucent liquid that smells very much of caramel malt and some faint hoppiness. Flavor decent but unremarkable, with a thin body and lingering sourness that I found rather unpleasant. Have to say I’m finding this brewer rather a disappointment; but maybe Lakefront, New Glarus and Capital have just spoiled me on Wiscosin brews. Cornfield (4331), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Oct 31, 2007 Good looking beer, pouring a bright orange body with a large spongey head. The aroma has caramel, vanilla, and quiet floral scents. In flavor it’s quite bready and has a drop of honey, a splash of caramel syrup, and a mild floral/herbal bitterness to balance it out. Quite quaffable. Note: The current beer picture is a BAd one, having "RateBeer" splashed across the bottle, worthy of some anal retentive beer rating site. Are folk really so worried that their beer photos will be stolen without credit that they have to present an unclear picture? If so, let someone else add them, please. Three Cellars, Franklin, WI
