Commercial Description:
A delicate balance of toasted malt and fresh hops give this medium-bodied German style lager an intriguing complex flavor. A creamy head, deep golden color and an impressive hop bouquet make this a very special beer.

One of the best beers I have ever had. It went down so smooth and tasted excellent. The finish was money. Yum yum, Milwaukee you are still the greatest.

Living in Milwaukee, I have a deep sense of pride that one of the best beers in the world is made right here. Too bad it’s not available everywhere.

This beer starts out malty and has a hoppy finish. One of my favorite beers, and one to which I compare all other Ambers. Excellent.

Sprecher Special Amber pours to a deep golden/light amber color with a creamy white head, and a lively carbonation. The nose on this beer is striking. Toasty, sweet malt aromas marry with vibrant, grassy hop aromas. There is a wonderful balance going on here, the malt and hop aromas play off each other perfectly. The palate is firm and smooth, with really great toasty/malty flavors that slide down the throat. The finish starts off aggressively hoppy and bitter, then gives way to the malt, ending clean and balanced. This beer is amazing. It is like drinking two beers in one, you can really taste the hop and malt flavors in this beer, they are crystal clear. Special Amber has plenty of flavor, yet is so smooth and drinkable. The fresher you drink this stuff the better. You won’t do better than having it at the brewery’s indoor beer tent, but fresh bottles of this beer will knock your lederhosen off as well. This beer is one of Milwaukee’s favorites, and it goes great with what else? German fare. Match this with a grilled bratwust with saurkraut, German mustard, and hot German potato salad.

medium dark golden color some lacing, light warm hoppy aroma starts out smooth and highly carbonated, medium body with flavor of light roasted malts, grass, very light note of clove and brown sugar with moderate hoppiness Very drinkable, I ll be getting this one again and trying some more from Sprecher - this has turned into one of my favorite beers
