Pour was dark amber with a medium light tan head. Aroma was of strong caramel and malt. Flavor was a little hoppy but mostly malty with strong notes of caramel. Was real smooth and pretty good. Might buy again.

Appealing sweet and spicy aroma, big off-white head with minimal lacing, medium to dark amber/red color, nice hoppy/spicy flavor with enoug malt sweetness to keep things balanced. This was a good choice for the Labor Day weekend cookout I attended and a good hot weather brew: not heavy but with anough flavor and character to make things interesting. This was the first Sprecher brew I’ve had and I look forward to trying others

Aug 3, 2008 Bottle. Pours orange with an off white head. Arom ais caramel, butterscotch, and floral hops. Medium body. Flavor is toasty, with caramel, honey, and floral hops. Pretty good.

Jul 12, 2008 Bottle. Goodbar Beer Club. Nose is honey & hot dogs w. mustyness. Odd to say the least. Flavor is caramel , some noble hop, toffee. Somewhat cloying with a bunch of honey in the finish.

Jun 30, 2008 Bottle purchased at Corral Liquors, in Granite City, IL. Pours a slightly hazy amber-orange with a thin, creamy, off-white cap. The nose is a muted, lightly toasted malt with a subtle fruity hop note in support. Light to medium-bodied and slick, the mouthfeel transitions to a lightly grainy and mildly dry finish. Sweet and fruity toasted malt with a light hop bite. A decent, quaffable session brew, but following Brooklyn Lager, it pales by comparison.
