I could see how some may find it a little sweet, but I think the strawberry meshes perfectly with the wheat to form a wonderful brew. Sorry I only picked up one. SturmWulf (65), USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 29, 2007 Strong aroma of strawberry. Very aromatic, smells very sweet. Hazy Peach colored with a vey thin small fizzy head that was pinkish white. Head remained very consistant in size till the end. Left a light lacing on the pint glass. Taste is a very sweet Strawberry bubblegum flavor. Was like drinking strawberry bubblegum. Medium body, oily texture with average carbonation. The finish is liike when you finish strawberry bubblegum, when the flavor is gone and you get that gum aftertaste. This beer would be great on a hot summer day! It goes down smooth, and if you like your beer sweet you would really like this. Its something different and while I wouldn’t drink it regularly or add it to my favorite rotation I would not hesitate to drink one again, especially when it is hot outside. A nice beer, a nice change of pace.
Served at 36 degrees in a pint glass. For those who like traditional beer I would pass on this one. But, if you like to try new and different beer you might very well like this one. StewardofGondor (1934), Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 1, 2007 Hazed pinkish grapefruit in color with a jagged, grey ice froth on top. Aroma revels in strawberry shortcake and plastic squeeze toys. A hint of cherry amaretto banana cheesecake keeps things surprisingly and desirably aromatically interesting. Sweet strawberry cloves and fluffy amaretto cream cheese danishes foray in the flavor. Cotton candy flavored dum-dum suckers with an effervescent feel and flavor in kind to cherry 7-up. No carbonation sting but rather a sweet, waxy glide across the palate post sip. Medium bodied and balanced more than I’d bargained for, finishing with cherry cheesecake pieces in a custard filled waffle cone. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA

Kind of tastes like it too, with a dry wheat and almost sickly sweet strawberry finish. It’s not nearly as rancid as I expected, but nothing I’d go for again. esjaygee (1537), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 15, 2008 Unfiltered peach color with a thin quickly diminishing off-white head. Aroma of wheat, strawberry and yeast. Taste of strawberry, candy sugar and sweet malt. Sugary and syrupy with a diet cola like finish. A touch too sweet but overall drinkable. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 10, 2007 Thank to skyview for sharing another hard to find Sprecher. Color of liquefied bazooka joe bubblegum. Smells of overripe strawberries. Sweet almost bubblegum flavor. Odd clash between wheat and strawberry flavors. Cornfield (4954), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 4/5 | 8/20 | Aug 14, 2007 From the bottle this pours a pinkish amber with a modest white head. The aroma smells like a cheap strawberry perfume, if there is such a thing. (I hope not.) It tastes like strawberry cotton candy and has a light, tart twist at the end. A rather sub-par offering from an otherwise fine brewer.

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 2, 2007 Ruby red grapefruit juice color. Taller pink head. Really does not look that appealing to me. Sweet wheat aromas, along with a light fruit backdrop. I don’t find the aroma as offensive as most, perhaps a bit sweet, but does have a weiss quality. The best way I think I can describe the flavor is to imagine a decent american weiss and add some strawberry koolaid to it. I catch flavors of wheat and some yeast qualities, but then the fake strawberry flavors creep in and kind of mess things up. Another sad attempt to win a segment of the beer drinks by making a fruity beverage.
