Very smooth and sweet, I think I am burnt out on winter ales. It is pretty dark, so I could drink it with food, but on its own it is a little too sweet for mass consumption. fearnobeer1976 (19), peshtigo, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 22, 2008 Not my favorite beer but is better than most winter brews. Didnt have the bitterness that is in these type of beers. grimreeser (797), Minnesota, USA

Arom is caramel and subtle roasted malt with some nuttiness. Flavor is nutty, caramel, roast malt, and some spice. Medium creamy body. A nice winter warmer style winter beer but still subpar. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 4, 2008 Pours a dark brown with almost no head. Smells like caramel and just sweet malt. Flavor pretty much follows the aroma with the malt dominating. The beer is a little thin and watery though. Not what I would describe as a winter brew. cbkschubert (1981), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA
