Commercial Description:
WINTER - A flavorful blend of dark roasted and sweet caramel malts defines this smooth and robust lager. The rich, nourishing flavors of a full-bodied, Munich bock, make this Bavarian style brew the perfect winter warmer.

Pours a dark brown with almost no head. Smells like caramel and just sweet malt. Flavor pretty much follows the aroma with the malt dominating. The beer is a little thin and watery though. Not what I would describe as a winter brew.

16 oz. bottle courtesy of Bockyhorsey - Pours a clear brown color with a 1/2 finger thick off white head. Light spotty lacing. Has a sweet doughy toasted malt aroma. Flavor is sweet toasted malt. Light to medium body. Easy to drink. Thanks Bill.

Slight off-white head. Dark brown color. Faint malty aroma, perhaps a bit of burnt coffee? Taste was slightly bitter, faint hop and malt flavor, mostly a toasty flavor. Thin, almost oily body. Overall, not a lot to it.

Bottle (500ml) shared with HogTownHarry & tupalev -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a clear deep ruby-brown with an average size diminishing tan head. Aroma of lightly roasted malt, burnt caramel and nuts. Flavour follows the aroma and is a touch watery. Dry finish. Medium bodied. A pretty good brew.

Very dark bodied beer with a thin short lasting tan head. Aroma is malt and brown sugar. Flavors of roasted nuts, chocolate, and a surprising hop bite. Exceptional for a lager.

Pours an amber brown with very little head. Nutty, hop aroma. Taste is light. An almost watered-sweetness. Fruit and nuts. Pretty good but I like a more hearty winter beer.

On tap at hop devil grill in nyc. Sure taste and feel like more than 5.75%. Just not my favorite style.

Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry and Blankboy, Harry’s bottle. Very dark brown, small white head. Burnt cola aroma, quite nice actually. That same burnt cola appears int he taste as well, good malt base here, somewhat dry. I wish I took more notes, as I really enjoyed this one.
