Draught at the brewpub. Quite malty aroma, sweet and syrupy with a hint of cream. Clear very dark brown colour, red shine. Big stable light brown head. The flavour is syrupy and caramelly with some spicy hops. Creamy aftertaste.

The Dunkel Bock is basically a supped up version of this breweries dunkel, quite malty with less diacetyl it seems, and the hop balance leans more towards the malt than even the dunkel does. It is a bit darker more towards a brown, with notes of deep red.

The aroma is barnyard, roasted and caramel. Dark brown color, light brown head, good lace. Too sweet, tastes like a stronger version of their dunkel and nothing more, caramel, light roasted malts. Long, sweet finish.
