Tap at CAH. Pours a hazy golden with a large foamy white head that laced. Aroma of smoked meats, nice hoppy notes and some bready malt. Flavor of light hops, smoked malts, bready character and grains. Surprised at the smokiness in this. It was put on a clean line at the CAH and this is the first pour form the keg. NOt bad...just not sure where the smoke is coming from.

Draft at Iron Hill / Springhouse event. Poured cloudy orangish amber in color with a medium sized beige head. Aroma of piney hops, with some grapefruit hoppy notes. hops come in pretty bitter, with flavors of grapefruit and grass. Lightly sweet, but the hops are more bitey and bittering. One of my favorite selections from Springhouse.

Draft @ the brewery and growlered at home. Medium statured off white head with good retention and a decent lace. lightly hazy blond/light orange color. Solid citrus and pine hops aromas with a touch of bready malts. Body is medium with a light resiny note and decent carbonation. Dry malts backed by fair hoppiness, pine, citrus, nicely fruity and a bit juicey with some melon notes as well. Fairly dry finish, nice hop bite. I,m still more of a fan of their Impy. Red though. Decent quaff.

Draft. Thick orange brown color. Soapy head. Balanced earthy aroma. Lots of bitter hops, but not much carbonation. A tad thick, but still has some pleasant flowery hoppiness. Middle of the road.

Growler shared at tasting by Jonathan. Thanks! Pours a nice clearish orange color with short lived whitish head. Smell is nice and fragrant with pine and grapefruit fruitiness. Taste is similar with a nice pine like bitterness and bitter grapefruit rind bitterness. Body is a bit thin, and the carbonation is normal. Overall a very solid beer and more in between IPA and DIPA, body-wise.
