Commercial Description:
An American-style ale brewed one barrel at a time. The malt bill is built on American two-row malt and accented by crystal 10, Vienna, and white wheat malts. Magnum hops give the beer a nice clean bittering and Amarillo, Cascade, and Centennial hop varieties provide a pleasant floral and citrusy hop flavor. A healthy dose of additional Amarillo and Centennial are dry hopped to give this beer an inviting hop aroma. The beer is fermented with a neutral yeast strain and allowed to dry out so it finishes crisp and clean.

Bottle at Novare Res. Pours a straw colored golden amber. There’s a foamy white head. Aroma is centennial and cascade hops. Flavor is big clean hops, there’s a good bitterness from the magnums and amarillos. Two of my personal favorite bittering hops. Good work guys. Looking forward to more of the beers from MBC. If this is their pale, the IPA should be epic!

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Goofy ass name. Notes of white grapefruit juice, pine, and floor clearner. Mouthfeel is foamy and the finish is medium length. Enjoyable.

My Bottom Line:
A tantalizing grassy and coniferous hop perfume leads to a much quieter flavor profile where citrus fruit and bready yeast attempt to add character. This foamy American-style Pale Ale shows a lot of promise for a new brewery.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A whipped cream-like tower of foam thrones atop the cloudy blond.
-There’s too much yeast in the bottle for the delicate malt flavors to stand out.
-That dry-hop perfume is just beautiful. If only the flavor profile carried through, we’d have a world class beer here.
-The very lean body makes this very drinkable, but then again few malt flavors come through.
-A gracious grassy hop bitterness lasts long.
-Effervescence might be a tad overdone.

Bottle; merci Marc!

batch one. pours crisp golden with medium white head. aroma is floral with citrus notes bubbling out of the glass. nice caramel malts come through with a bit of spicy must. drinks similar with lots of floral and piny hops followed by a nice burst of citrus fruits and finishes with a strong sweet malt. bitter hop after taste lasts and makes you want more. fantastic and i cant wait to try other offerings when they expand.

Pours a slightly cloudy golden yellowish amber with some dark golden ripe banana hues when held to a light source and a frothy, pillowy white head that has very good retention, pretty much lasting throughout and leaving sporadic spots of soapy lacing. Earthy grassy hop aroma with hints of straw and a nice citrus presence. Hints of grapefruit, lemon peel, dank hop oil and pine. Subtle malt backbone. Chewy resinous medium body that is very hop forward. Bitter earthy hops up front with a lot of dry pine as well as some sweet citrus notes, mostly grapefruit and lemon peel. This is balanced mid palate by a nice malt backbone with earthy grassy straw notes. Crisp, well balanced, easy drinking and refreshing. Overall, a decent session beer.

Thanks to GrittyMug345 for sending this my way, I really appreciate it. Bottle poured into a tulip glass produced a finger worth of white head that didn’t last long, and settled to a thin lace. The body of the brew was a hazy yellow. The first thing I noticed was a wonderful hoppy aroma, nice floral, and piney. The only concern was the flavor. The yeast fruitiness was a little to dominate for me it was hard to pick up the nice malty backbone I look for in a pale. I did enjoy it, the hops were right on in my book. It was light and crisp in my mouth and extremely drinkable Serving type: bottle
