Springfield Mueller Bull Creek Brown

On tap at the brewpub. Very dark with a thick white head. Served too cold. Nose of chocolates and roasty malts. Great lacing. Very smooth with a mild roasty, chocolately, caramely flavor. A bit thin on the finish.. Overall a decent brown, usually not one of my favorite styles.

Tap- Pours a rootbeer brown, big, foamy white head on top, good lacing. Aroma is massively chocolate, some mild hops underneath. Flavor is again chocolatey, lots of nutty character in there, mild yeasty notes, and some mild tobacco notes on the dark, bitter finish. Excellent. Not quite as good from the bottle, the chocolate character is covered by yeast, and the mouth feel is a little less full.
