But this one was midlyl interesting, a bit full in the mouth and definitely quaffable. I've come around on many styles I've previously despised so maybe Kolsch is in the cards for me, thanks to the Springfield Brewing co.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 1, 2009 Tasted 6/1/09. 12oz bottle. Filtered with a pale golden hue. White ring of head. Cereal grains and citrus in the nose. Soggy wood and a wisp of strawberries. Medium bodied with a bright effervescence and quite a crisp palate. Initially sweet and bready, but the astringency and bitterness take over and last the rest of the way. Crisp and tangy. Grassy hops with a splash of grapefruit bitterness. Quite tasty and definitely easy on the palate. heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA
