flavour. Not too bad but a bit on the sweet side for me.

Nov 8, 2007 Cask, The Highcross, Leicester. Chestnut brown with a beige head. Aromas are malty with some fruitiness. Flavours are malty with chocolate, caramel and fudge. Some spices. Dry on the finish. Simple but decent.

Jan 4, 2007 Cask conditioned - handpump - JDW Northampton. An amber coloured beer with a creamy off-white coloured head. The aroma is dry with some fruit and a bit of a woody character. The tsate is toasty and fruity with a touch of coffee. A malty beer which seems a little disjointed.
