[bottle] shared by skyview. Pours nearly perfectly clear with no head. Aroma is sweet honey and some alcohol. Mouthfeel is a little thinner than it probably should be. Not too hot, but the alcohol lingers on the finish. Overall a pretty drinkable mead.

(bottle, thanks Skyview) Pours completely clear, and as OSLO said, it looks like water. Light aroma of honey, with a hint of raisin. The taste is like grape kool-aid with an odd finish that isn’t too pleasing. Light mouthfeel.

Shared by Skyview. I do like mead but this one was not so good. Clear appearance, which is fine. Light honey aroma. Just a little sweet in the flavor, with sort of an astringent quality that I didn’t care for. On the thin side for palate as well.

[Bottle, thanks Skyview] Looks like water--and I mean this really does look exactly like water. Aroma is sweet, plasticy with the obvious honey. Taste is also very sweet with honey and very little else going on. I don’t even know what else to say about this mead--really not very good though.

Courtesy of Skyview. Clear "color". Very light aroma of clover honey. Light, sweet honey flavor. A little floral and a bit more of the clover honey. Interesting...

Picked up a single 750 ml bottle at Mars Cheese Store near Kenosha, Wisconsin. Pours a clear and thick watery looking wine with no head or bubbles. Aroma of light pear, honey, some floral scents and white grape skins. Taste is oily, semi-sweet with flavors of honey, pears and a touch of wintergreen. Finish has a high alcohol character with some mixed aftertaste of honey and some phenol medicine.

A hint of yellow to the otherwise clear still liquid. I catch resin, glue, oak, pine and some dried sweet herbs in the aroma. Taller thick legs, the alcohol seems to hold the top quite awhile. THe longer I sniff the more it is starting to smell like kerosene. Mild plum brandy flavors. A mead that, without the strength, has slivovitz qualities. Oak and nuts in the finish. A interesting coconut milk linger. Medieval, I can agree with that part. Seems old and unclean.
