Commercial Description:
We have brewed this British bitter ale with an American twist. Our amber colored ale is high in hop flavor as we use the same hops we use in our I.P.A.

Tasted 8/4/08. Draft from the brewpub. Filtered with a golden hue. Layer of off-white head. Citrus and caramel aromas. Medium bodied and crisp. Grainy malt character and mildly chalky. Off-bitter palate. Slight graham cracker flavor. Light and sweet. Decent attempt.

Draught at brewpub. Pale golden, light and bready ale with some hops in aroma. Real quaffer for thirsty people that delivers perhaps less flavor than advertised.

Draught at Square One. Pours clear yellow with a small, fizzy, white head, somewhat lasting with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (grain, cereal), light hops (grass), average yeast (sweat) with notes of apple and pear. Light bodied, thin texture, soft carbonation, and a metallic finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.
