Aroma of banana and clove. Taste of banana, clove, lemon and spice. A light fruity hop finish, decent hefewiezen. red éric (1382), montréal, Quebec, Canada Apr 23, 2008 On tap at the brewery, hazy amber-orangeish hue, with a small white head, yeasty, mild fruity bananaish nose, with kind of bad detergent smell, hint of malt toastiness, no spiciness in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, fruity, acidic character of fieldberries, but mainly tart raspberries, with a subtle clove spicy accent, a faint toasty malt note, leading towards a fruity acidic finish. SubstanceT (1087), Saint Louis, Missouri, USA Sep 1, 2007 Rating 1069, On tap at the brewery. Hazy golden cloudy with a medium sized long lasting white head. Nose was sweet with malts, sugars and bannana skins. Taste with a great maltyness, cream and yeast through and through. A bit thin, especialy where the alcohol meets the malts. But still drinkable and pleasant. Better as it warms up.
