thegreenrooster (1514), St.louis, Missouri, USA Aug 4, 2007 Pour is a bright orange with a small white head. Aroma is somewhat earthy and floral. Flavor has some caramel kick to it with a touch of the hops. Prob the best one i sample today. #2 of 4 sampler. kwoeltje (1222), Manchester, Missouri, USA Jun 25, 2006 (draught at brewpub) Medium gold (light for an ESB) with almost no head but nice lace. Faint aroma - some malt. Flavor is mostly malt with a hint of sweetness then a bit of hops in the finish. vyvvy (1756), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA May 18, 2006 On tap - golden brown with a frothy head that stays around and gives some very nice lacing. Not a whole lot of aroma - caramel and malt mix with a bit of sweetness. Starts with a syrupy friuty sweetness, then turns quite dry. Spicy hops then come to the front. The hoppiness coats the back of the mouth. The initial sweetness goes away after a few drinks. The beer is medium bodied. Further down the glass the taste gets a little metallic. Overall it is a fairly nice beer. Braudog (3463), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates May 13, 2006 Draft pint at the brewpub, 5/12/06: Light! Yellow-orange. An even brew with light malt character and a slight hoppy edge. Not the flavorful creation I’d hoped for, but good ... more of a light pale ale or a dark blonde ale, I’d say.
