On tap at the brewery, cloudy brown hue, with a beige head, yeasty, fruity bananaish, plummy nose, with some clove, cinnamon,nutmeg spiciness, with a chocolatey, ripe apple accent, a sweet toasty, wheaty malt aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, fruity, ripe banana, plummy, raisiny character, with a nice spicy cinnamon, clove accent, with some toasted, wheat malts, a faint floral hop bitterness, leading towards a fruity, malty, chocolatey finish.

Mar 26, 2008 Growler acquired in trade with drmatt as part of the Growler Swap. Poured a medium and muddy brown color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of bananas, cloves, and wheaties cereal. Tastes of bananas, cloves, wheat, and fruity.

Jan 30, 2008 Pours murky muddy brown with a small off-white head that refuses to cling to the glass. The aroma has thick candied banana that are very rich and smooth. The wheat richness is very apparent. Medium / thick body with prickly carbonation. The taste is very sweet, it reminds me of a more syrupy version of brown sugar mixed with sweetened dried bananas. There is some phenolic spice in here as well. The beer is different than the norm for the brewery, but I couldn’t have too much of this.

Jan 20, 2008 Nice ester profile. Starts fruity and slightly tart, but then the big malty profile of the beer comes shining though. Aroma is very similar to the taste on this one. Appearance is very unfiltered, like muddied water- I kind of like it. The beer is pretty middle of the road with touches of banana and vegetable coming through as it warms.

Jan 19, 2008 Sampled from the brewpub. 1/17/08. Unfiltered with a layered hue, light brown to a deep dark opaque brown. Hazy with an off-white head. Wheaty citrus aromas. Touch malt. Light to medium bodied. Nice duality between the sweet malts and the citrus tart hop and yeast. Lingering sugary flavor. Banana and clove yeasty flavor. Bubblegum and sticky. Wheaty with a good yeast flavor. Nice.
