On tap @ brewpub. Deep dark brown in color with cascading bubbles that form a rich creamy 1-finger head. Leaves a coating rather than lacing on the inside of the glass. Cocoa, roasted coffee, and toasted oats in the nose. Sweet milk chocolate flavor that is mild and refreshing. Pretty decent.

What an unusual find at Squatters. Pours a dark brown color with a thick and creamy tan head. The aroma was the first surprise; loads of hops! Some toasted flavors and a bit of caramel malts also. The flavor was also very full of hops, but the balance was achieved by a more traditional mix of caramel, loads of toasted malts, and some sweeter chocolates perhaps. Very nice. Like a hopped up stout. A great find.
