Draft at the brewpub. Dark amber beer with a nice standing head. Restrained aroma of caramel malt. Drinks with a robust flavor, nutty maltiness, baked apple and a nice bitter finish. Nice.

Cask at the brewery: Amber hue; curiously clear. Mild carbonation. Watery texture. Tasty malts were wholesome and earthy with some caramel and toast. Hops provided some orange and lemon. Decent amber.

Just barely above average...decent malt profile ofset by hops. Easy drinking and not offensive but not very good.

Had this one on draught at the brewpub in Salt Lake City, Utah. Hazy, brownish red pour with a thick tan head, rosy hoppiness and citrus in the nose, a nice hoppy character with some flowery and citrus hops late. Very good!

Sampled on cask at the pub in downtown SLC

Amber as advertised, with an attractive cream colored mousse with excellent lacing that looked like leopard spots.
I really enjoy the flowery aromas of cask ales, and this one didn’t dissapoint. A little pine and a tad sweet.
Mild roasted sweetness/caramel with a pleasant hop finish, for a low ABV Beer it had plenty of character which made it very easy to drink. This was the best draft Beer I had in Salt Lake City.

Poured on tap @ Squatter’s Brewpub in SLC. It has a deep copper body with lasting white head and cobweb lacing. The aroma has roasted caramelized malts, a bit of buttered bread along with spice and citrus orange smelling hops. The taste has dual competing notes of roasty to caramel maltiness and spicy to citrus hoppiness. Each time I begin to enjoy the rich maltiness a note hops wells up and joins in bringing citrusy to spicy goodness. A refreshing brew that attains a pleasing balance.

Draught at the brewpub. First aroma noticed was that of grapefruits. Very nice hop flavour. One of the better ones from SLC Brewing.
