jjpm74 (2926), Connecticut, USA Aug 13, 2008 Courtesy of douglas88. Pours a cazy amber with a thin white head. Smells of citrus, wheat, traces of spice. Tastes sweet and spicy with some orangy hints. Decent. rkuhnel (1100), Eureka, California, USA Jul 11, 2008 From the cellar, this 12 oz bottle poured cloudy dark gold with medium head and lacing. Nose of wheat and floral hops. Medium but smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is malts and hops, and the finish is bland. Pretty average American Wheat. Ibrew2or3 (1705), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA Jul 3, 2008 Poured on tap @ Squatter’s Brewpub in SLC. It has a hazy copper to gold body and white foam head. The aroma has full wheat notes followed by grain malts, yeast spice and faint citrus. The taste is grainy malts to wheat up front followed by mild orange citrus moving into lemon citrus notes into the finish. About midway the wheat becomes more noticeable and carries nicely into the finish. Upon warming I notice the nose developed some bubble gum notes. bitbucket (1542), Kirkland, Washington, USA Jul 2, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear gold with a somewhat lacy white head. Mostly floral hops with some lemony notes. Medium body, carbonation. This is either a really poor example of a German Hefeweizen, or just another mediocre American Wheat. Ty5592 (1009), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 7, 2008 Bottle from Douglas88. Pours a clear light hazy orange color with small white head.Aroma of wheat and yeast. The taste was of light wheat and yeats with lingering sweet malt notes. Some fizzy on the palate but not too bad. Pretty damn hot today so this was pretty damn refreshing.
