douglas88 (818), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Mar 15, 2008 On tap at the SLC brewpub. Pours a dark cloudy mix, with a powerful nitro infused head. The aroma is roasted malts. The taste is quite nice; the head is really sweet and crisp, while the main aspect is a roasted malt. Sweeter than Guinness and more nutty. I really like this beer. Real quality. Thick, almost a meal in itself. BückDich (4559), Boise, Idaho, USA Apr 9, 2006 Nitro Special at the Squatter’s Pub in the SLC Airport (Concource C) Pours a dark black color with light ruby edges and a thick creamy tan head, which diminishes faster than most nitro pours I’ve seen. Anyways, the nose is very nice with a rich coffee and roast bouquet and very little hops. A bit nutty and not quite as dry as I like in the stout. The flavor is nutty, as expected a full and creamy mouthfeel. Much more robust than your typical Guinness, which is tinny and watery these days. Nice stout, I’m always pleased to be able to drink a new pint while passing the time on a layover. bu11zeye (3780), Frisco, Texas, USA Feb 4, 2005 (Draft) Pours a dark brown body with a light tan head. Flavor of roasted malt and coffee. Chaulky, dry mouthfeel. P-tor44 (887), Anchorage, Alaska, USA Mar 27, 2003 coffee aroma, thin body due to nitro. mild hops come late with a slightly dry finish. nothing special
