daddyslick (36), Arizona, USA Mar 20, 2008 It is nice to have a pilsner not served in a green bottle to avoid the skunky flavor, sadly this beer, at least out of the bottle, does leave quite a bit to be desired. It’s not a bad beer, it’s just extremely usual. It’s pretty pale in color, not a lot of hoppy aroma, very light body, no after taste. It goes down very easily. Fantomasus (122), USA Feb 20, 2008 Pours a yellow gold wit a big white head of tightly packed bubbles that quickly dissipate. Little if any aroma but nothing bad. Tastes of a quirky malt hops balance. Refreshing and unassuming. Good for pounding down on a hot summer day. Buy this instead of commercial Amercan brews. jrob21 (1250), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Feb 17, 2008 Thanks to douglas88 for forwarding this one. Decent white head and a very carbonated pale yellow pour. Big bittering hops makes this a little more entertaining Pilsner. Easy to drink and with a little more body than you would expect for the style. Floral nose and slightly pungent finishing flavor. A good go of it but just not a very exciting style to me. WhiteAlePower (91), Long Island, New York, USA Feb 11, 2008 Draught on brewpub. Pale yellow with a small head. A very refreshing Pilsner. swoopjones (1862), Buffalo, New York, USA Feb 11, 2008 Bottle. Park City Ski Resort. Decent pils. Slight hop bitterness. Pale yellow color. Easy drinking but boring as most pils are to me douglas88 (1556), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Jan 27, 2008 Bottle. Pours a light gold with a decent frothy head. The aroma is mostly bready and some malts. The taste is your basic pilsner; some malts, a bready/grainy quality, some sweet honey perhaps. Nothing special, but drinkable. Plus Provo Girl is hot. crizay (1050), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA Nov 11, 2007 Thanks to Degarth knowing this would be my 1st Utah beer, and I see why. Clear golden pour, with small white head. Aroma is is actual good bready and floral hops. Flavor is corn, bready but also buttery malty sweetness. Just an absurd amount of pale malts which lend nothing more than sugars for fermenting. This is a freakin miller lite wannabe. Drain pour. nearbeer (1833), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Nov 10, 2007 Draft, brewpub at SLC airport. Clear golden with a small, lasting head. Aroma is faint cereal and grass. Flavors of dry cereal, a touch of honey, and some drying bitter-herb hops on the finish. Palate is light-medium bodied, tingly and has a dry crisp finish. Excellent example of the style and a pleasant surprise.
