OD40oz (600), Box Elder, South Dakota, USA Dec 9, 2008 Got this in a sampler pack of Utah beers. Straw color with a short lived white head. Hoppy, grassy aroma. Very clean tasting beer with a nice hop aftertaste. I reallly like Pilseners and this one was no exception. irishsnake (353), Oakland, California, USA May 9, 2003 Very drinkable pilsner, perfecly balanced hop and malt. Not a kick-ass beer by any means, but a perfect session beer on a warm day. opiate (199), Sandy, Utah, USA Dec 16, 2000 A super pilsner. I was pleasantly surprised. For some reason I haven’t been terribly impressed with our local breweries pilsners, but this one is great. Actually reminiscent of Pilsner Urquell. Oakes (8057), gone rambling, Vietnam May 20, 2005 Golden-straw colour; rather hazy; long-lasting head; slow, small bubbles. Fresh aroma of herbaceous hops, doughy yeast and fresh bready malts. Cheers for not using the cliched noble varieties - as good as they can be it gets dull after a few hundred pilsners. A little bit of marshmallowy maltiness underpins a moderately (~32 IBUs) bitter palate. Finish is a little quick. There is an unplesant mineral note but generally a pretty good pils, one of the better ones in the US. warhank (8), SLC, Utah, USA does not count Feb 11, 2007 I think there is something to be said for a beer that essentially acts as a higher-class substitute for a regular domestic lager. Remember, this is Utah. P-tor44 (886), Anchorage, Alaska, USA Apr 2, 2001 for a pilsner its great Braudog (3733), Dayton, Ohio, USA Dec 6, 2002 Sweet lemon-soap scent. Nice bubbly golden appearance. Pleasant enough malt flaovr, but slightly tarnished by acidic afterbite. beerguy101 (3861), Newark, California, USA Oct 4, 2002 Light gold color, medium head. A light bodied pilsner. Malty and fairly hoppy. Mild flavor. Crisp and clean. Nice balance. Nice balance. Smooth taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is a little bitter.
