Hazy whiteish/yellow with a frothy white head. Aroma of salt, light hay and toast. Looks and smells like sea water. Crisp and clean. The taste is rather bland and unflattering. Watery depth. Light hop bite. Nice ripoff of St. Pauli Girl on the label, but it’s a shame because the biermaiden has more body than this boring brew. And, no it’s not because of the lack of alcohol. Many English Bitters and IPA’s are below 3.5% ABV and are loaded with flavor. So, no excuses on this one.

Pours a slightly hazy yellow with little head. A weak nose of sweet malt. Mellow malt, slightly sweet. Not too much of a palate. Decent Pilsener, kind of light.

Bottle: Pale golden, fairly clear, a little sparkly, small to moderate white head, falls quickly leaving spotty lacing.   Very soft grassy and pale malt nose, very soft.   Remains soft on the tongue while still remaining somewhat flavorful.   Certainly grassy, pales malts, slight hay or straw.   A bit on the unsweetened side, even a bit dry.   Has a bit of a raw grassy unfinished finish, if that makes sense.   Smooth up until the end, and could use a bit more sweetness.   Otherwise its okay.   Body and mouthfeel were moderate.

Pours a clear pale yellow. Vague aroma, but it was from a tiny sampler glass, so who knows if the beer can be blamed. Bread, corn, and a slight tingly hop character, but there’s a penetrating "bad lager" character that marrs the experience. Finishes with slight roast and wood. Pretty blah.

2004 NABA Festival: Light in color. Almost clear. Sweet citrusy smell. Light bitterness. Cool and refreshing.

golden color, malt-sweet/slight hopped aroma, very light bodied... not one of my favorites... but refreshing... came in a Squatters/Wasatch mixed pack from Vegas.
