Strong floral aroma of apricot and other fruits (I think). Strong apricot flavour. Not unpleasant or overwhelming at all though. No artificial sweet additives it seems. Tastes clean and real. Highly drinkable beer. I was shocked I liked it as much as I did.

Bottle: Clear orange color, light white head. The nose is fruity with some apricot and orange notes, light wheat and husk and a meaty body. The flavor is balanced with a not-so-cloying citrus note with a fresh wheaty body. Not too much for hops or otherwise and it’s fairly 2 dimensional, but it’s good.

Bottle. Decent dense white head. Pours and smells apricot. I like apricots just ripe before they become over-sweet. This is just right. There’s enough fizz and bite to leave a clean-feeling mouth. Would be good with washed-rind cheese. This is not complex but it is nicely done.

Bottle: cellar stored a year: pours a orangey-gold, fair cap, doentlast too long. Sharp aromas of apricot...odd as this was stored a year ago doen’t seem synthetic so I’m guessing it’s extract. Light grassy notes and toasty cereal tones. Fizzy mouth feel, dry character, biscuity malrs in front - a rush of fruit joinrd by some hop spiciness....dry crisp finish. No bad or off tastes here but seems ’processed’ and unnatural somehow.

12-oz bottle Marcello’s, Lafyette, LA - Aroma: candy-like apricot; Appearance: clear, gold, very small white head (no retention), no laces; Flavor: sweet, salty, apricot; Mouthfeel: medium bodied, low carbonation, off-dry; Overall: not really balanced between the fruit and wheat (very little).

Pours an average, white, frothy head. Clear, orange body. Smells purely of artificial, sweet apricot. Sweet malt and apricot in the flavor. Candyish. Medium body, prickly carbonation. Fairly sweet with a big time, tangy finish. Underwhelming.

Pours a nice clear gold color with a small head. Smells like an apricot Jolly Rancher candy. Tastes like someone dissolved a bunch of apricot Jolly Ranchers in beer. Sweet and tart finish. Not as bad as my description might make it sound, as can be seen in my numerical rating. After all, I like Jolly Ranchers, and I like beer...

Bottle via the beer gnomes generous neighbor. Many thanks, O friend of the gnome. Nose of strong apricots as top is popped. Bright orange/ amber with steady carbonation . Thin white head. Watery chalk finish but light refreshing fruit ridden body. Unbalanced. A few caramel whisps in body but other than that a bit one dimentional.

colour is a slightly hazy amber, smell is very fresh apricot, a little candyish. it tastes very bitter, dry hops, the smell of apricots makes it seem fruity, but only a little, kind of harsh and biting, its not sweet enough for a fruity taste. not going to try it again...
