Commercial Description:
St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout consistently beats out international stouts in blind tastings and competitions. This intensely black ale carries strong hints of espresso and chocolate. The oatmeal contributes body and ensures a long-lasting mocha-coloured head. If you like stout, you will love St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout.

this is the most beautiful beer i have ever seen in my entire life..the head is DARK brown and HUGE..the color is completely black and utterly opaque..the aroma had tons of oatmeal, chocolate, coffee, and burnt caramel..lots of coffee, bitter chocolate, breakfast oatmeal, pumperknickle bread..slightly salty like roasted peanuts in vanilla ice cream and smothered in real chewy fudge..nice full body for a lower gravity stout..roasty notes are there but are in harmony with everything else..which is nice for a change..

via trade with HogTownHarry - Pours a dark brown color with a nice tan head. Nice lacing Has a roasted malt, coffee, and light chocolate aroma. Flavor is much the same but with a slight roasted bitterness. Has a smooth but some what dry finish. Medium body. Very nice beer. Thanks Harry.

Bottle thanks to madsberg: Black pour with a small tan head. Aroma of oats, coffee and chocolate. Flavor, sweet up front, with oats, rich malts and chocolate. Leading to a bittersweet finish. Nice and creamy, a little sticky on the tail end. I’ve wanted to try this for a long time and it was worth the wait.

Bottle courtesy of miketd. Thanks!
Pours black with a nice creamy and fizzy tan head. Smell is light coffee, perhaps some milkiness and oatmeal. Taste is dark roastiness, and moderate strength flavorful coffee, with medium body and carbonation. Slight creamy milky underlying flavor to it, but still I’d like it to be a touch richer in body. Very good all around and quite drinkable.

A dark black pour with creamy long lasting white head and lace. Black chocolate on the aroma. Chocolate with a hint of sour on the flavor. Medium bodied with good carbonation.

Bottle picked up at Del Cerro Liquor. Pitch black in color upon pouring. Sweet full malty aroma. I think I smell oats or something. Almost reminds me of oatmeal cookies. Roasted malty flavors with considerable hoppiness for the style. Some black licorice in there as well. Full roasted malt/coffee finish. Very solid stout.
