It smells like those fancy little pots of cream that you can get in the states for your coffee. Nice color with a brown head. Flavour is a bit of a letdown after the aroma which was so promising. Bit of sherry in there. Not much coffee, but it’s got the Bailey’s. Quite nice, but wish it tasted more like the aroma. thewolf (5764), Kolding, Denmark

Pours dark brown with a stunning coffee-brown and exceptionally creamy head. Really great duration and soft lacing. Stunning sweet aroma, lots of sweet milk chocolate, light coffee notes and mildly roasted. Some vanilla as well. Light and still a bit creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, a good chocolate note and a mild roasted bitterness. This is one hell of a stout, considering the 5 % ABV. hopdog (5591), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Poured a dark black with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of chocolate, roasted malts, and coffe. Additional flavors of light oatmeal. A little smoky as well. Smooth body and very easy to drink. Rastacouere (5553), Montréal, Quebec, Canada

The taste is indeed sweet, burnt caramel and chocolate in harmony. Complex malt, admirable balance. Nice bitterness to balance it all. Round texture, creamy, highly drinkable. | 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jun 1, 2007 Bottle at delerium cafe, brussels. This was soo upsetting, i mean i dont like stouts generally, but this was something i was soo looking forward too but no one at the table wanted to drink it and we left over half of it, it was a dreadful attempt at a beer. Liquire and roasty malt character, some coffee in there too. Really one dimentional and utterly rubbish beer. Im suprised i gave it over a 1. bu11zeye (5505), Frisco, Texas, USA

The beer pours to a black color with a thin brown creamy head. The flavor is complex with hints of dark chocolate, roasted oatmeal, nuts, and coffee. Excellenst all around brew!
