Commercial Description:
St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout consistently beats out international stouts in blind tastings and competitions. This intensely black ale carries strong hints of espresso and chocolate. The oatmeal contributes body and ensures a long-lasting mocha-coloured head. If you like stout, you will love St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout.

The aroma is mostly hops. It got an excellent chocolate favor and pleasant finish. I really like this beer! Thanks MartinT

On tap at Alex P Keatons, in London Ontario. Poured a dark opaque black body with huge thick mocha coloured creamy head. Cant wait to dive in. Aromas, of coffee, malt, nuts and chocolate. Has a sweet coffee taste, and malts present. Leaves a heavy lacing on the glass. Very rich, but a smooth finish, what a nice stout!

Thanks to richlikebeer for sharing this one. Pours jet black with a tan head that quickly dissipates. Strong aroma of malts, chocolate, and espresso. Taste is a fine combination of malts, barley, espresso and chocolate. Stands up to its reputation. Super beer.

Nitro tap at Beer Bistro in Toronto. Silky smooth and creamy. Milk chocolate with burnt malt and then coffee. Almost meaty with the oats. Thick and sweet yet dry. Super.

Bottle. Pours almost jet black with dark red/brown edges and a tan head that leaves lots of lacing. Aroma is wonderful with strong chocolate and espresso. Flavour is similar with a little bitterness plus hints of caramel and nuts. A little thinner in the mouth than I was expecting but still a great stout all round.
