Commercial Description:
St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout consistently beats out international stouts in blind tastings and competitions. This intensely black ale carries strong hints of espresso and chocolate. The oatmeal contributes body and ensures a long-lasting mocha-coloured head. If you like stout, you will love St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout.

Midnight black color. Medium head. Aroma is roasted malts and chocolate. A medium bodied sweet stout. Deeply roasted malts. Big dark malt flavors, chocolate, coffee, vanilla and a touch of wood. Extremely smooth. Creamy and slightly sweet. Very easy to drink, nice sipping beer. Complex yet subtle, Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

And Sammy redeams himself with a formidable drink. Cheers. Dark brown, a little light in the head with a thin body but a tickling tang on the tongue with a creamy intensity of coffee and very dark chocolate--utterly decadent. A sensation you could get lost in.

Okay, what a stout, Thanks be to Edward (brooklynboy) for sharing this awesome brew. Drinking this makes me wish that I had a fantastic tounge that could pull this apart, or even better, a fantastic brain that could write it down. Dark in colour with a nice brown-grey head, the nose is malty with chocolate and warmth, the tatse is just aobout the same with a sense of purity and hops. Great stuff, get ahold of this if you can.

This beer is as good a reason as any to become an alcoholic. Beautiful black colour with a lovely roasted coffee nose. Thick taste pours across the palate revealing flavours of figs, chocolate, and light caramel. YUUUUMMMMMMYYYY.

Pours a pitch black color, small brown head, lots of lacing adorns the sides. Aroma is very rich, of milk chocolate, roasted coffee, and mocha. Flavor is similar, with a litlte added vanilla/cream note to it. Very slick and oily on the palate. Very tasty easy drinking brew! Thanks to RadioMGB for this one!

Pours black into an English pint. Mocha head with excellent retention. Coffee and dark chocolate aromas. Roasted malts and coffee throughout to a dry, bitter finish.

Bottled. Pours an opaque blackish brown with a lingering light brown head laden with lace. Coffee, chocolate and roasty malts in the nose. Full, creamy body with light carbonation. Tastes of coffee, dark chocloate, vanilla and malt. Lingering espresso-bitter finish.
