| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 3, 2006 Bottle, much thanks to Oakes. Pours black with brown edges and a big dark tan head. The aroma is toffee, walnut, raisin, and hints of coffee and berries. The flavor has more coffee than the nose, with a robust smoked meat quality. It has a subtle sweetness that reminds me of yogurt-covered raisins. Finish is much like cocoa powder. The mouthfeel is carbonated, but without harming the robustness. Good stuff.
