Commercial Description:
St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout consistently beats out international stouts in blind tastings and competitions. This intensely black ale carries strong hints of espresso and chocolate. The oatmeal contributes body and ensures a long-lasting mocha-coloured head. If you like stout, you will love St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout.

aroma of rich chocolate, slightly oatmealy and some alc. Best looking thing i’ve seen in a while. Black with a chocolate ice cream scoop of a head with incredible staying power. absolutely delicous. oatmeal is very prevelant, I love it. Perfect 400th Beer!

While I prefer the rich body and creamy head that Samuel Smith’s OS offers, St. Ambroise is blissfully bitter on account of it’s more pronounced hoppiness.

Black as coal. Frothy mocha head. Smooth dark chocolate and coffee flovor. Light lingering sweet bitter after taste.

Black as midnight. Thick chewy tan head that settles with a craters on the moon effect. A very nice nose of dark fruit, dark chocolate, and roasted notes. Flavor is dark chocolate with everything else secondary. A nice hop profile, coffee, and gobs of roasted notes. Figs, and plums. Finish was a bit thin. What a delightful stout!

Opaque brown, seems to be balanced perfectly between sweet and dry. Chocolate and coffee notes. Finishes on the bitter side. Thanks for the bonus, tidiaguy.

Pours almost black with a creamy tan head that thinned out quickly. Strong aroma of chocolate, coffee, and a little fruit (chocolate covered cherries). Flavor to match with a roasty, smokey bitterness. Full, creamy mouthfeel, feels like its coating my tongue.

thanks to richlikebeer for this 12 oz. bottle. those canadians know how to make coffee stouts, eh? aroma of rich expresso and roasted malt. deep dark brown pour with a succulent tan head. flavor is coffee up front but not as overpowering as I expected. hints of bittersweet chocolate on the tail end with some hop bitterness coming thru as well. a tastey stout from start to finish, thanks rich
