Commercial Description:
Cask & Bottle conditioned.
Brewed in Cornwall to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Nelson’s victory at Trafalgar in 1805. It was at St Austell’s Blue Anchor that the King’s messenger carrying news of the battle first stopped for refreshment on his long journey from Cornwall to London. This premium bottle-conditioned ale has been uniquely brewed using our own Cornish Gold malt. Locally grown barley is traditionally malted using a special kilning process which develops a deeper intensity of colour and flavour than ordinary barley malt. Blended with both Styrian Golding and Cascade hops, the result is a deep bronze ale with a delicious rich biscuit flavour and a wonderful spicy aroma. Winner of bronze medal in the Brewing Industry International Awards.
Ingredients: Cornish Gold malt. Styrian Golding and Cascade hops.

A beer brewed to honour the champ at sea Lord Nelson and the battles at Trafalgar....I love when beers a wrapped in storys like that..... but can it bare to back this world famous admiral?. Bottle 50 cl. The pour is clear and golden amberish brown with a fine off white lasting head. The nose is more hoppier than you usually see in english ales. Besides the hops, there are some Yeasts, malt and vanilla in the aroma. The mouthfeel is medium thick with a creamy side. I taste honey, malts and caramel besides hops and cornlike notes. The finish is smooth and pretty bitter. Way better than most british bitters I can think of.

Bottled 50cl. It pours a dark amber beer with tall light beige head. Wonderful, deeply inviting aroma with quite a lot of Cascade characteristic showing up- I love Cascade. Balanced taste with a moderate bitterness. Great malt backing. Very drinkable. Long fruity finish. A very good beer. Extremely pleasant.

Cask at Copenhagen Beerfestival. It’s a clear, copper colored beer wtih a small, off-white head. Balanced aroma with bready malts and citrusy hops. Some caramel and resin as well. The flavor is on the malty side with a pleasant citrusy twist. Bready, with some caramel. Medium body, rather dry, and a decent bitterness in the finish. A quenching session ale, not very exciting, but drinks well. (090517)

Bottled. An amber coloured beer with a nice red hue and an off-white head. The aroma is nice and fruity with berries and a really good sweetish hop note. Obvious US hops (confirmed now as cascade) and a little caramel also. Good hops in the mouth with fruit and chocolate notes. Good length and super flavours. A really good beer.

Cask at Cockney Pub. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Light malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Great pine notes. Moderate malty and bitter flavor. Strong hopps notes. Perfect malt/hopps balance. Creamy palate. Excellent.
