Side by side with Westy 12... perhaps not the best idea to show this beer off! Rich clear brown red with a dense creamy smooth tan head. Creamy round malt. Heavy on the bready aspects. Light spice. Small dark fruit. Lightweight compared to Westy 12! No big dark malt presense, more of a suggestion, but it works. Full creamy body. Lght on the tongue and yet creamy, like the Westy. Creamy light. Sweet alcohol, fruit, malt. alcohol builds into the flavor makign this lighter and fruitier. A bit creamy. Slightly acidic apple. Slight hint of spice. This is a nice beer, no doubt.

Pour is a very dark red with a large tan head. Aroma is brown sugar with dark fruit and alcohol. It all mixes quite well. Flavor is raisons with molasses and dark chocolate. Alcohol is there but in more of a warming way then anything. Finish is sweet and very dry. A very tasty beer, probably not as good as the original Abt 12 but something deffinatly to pick up if you see it in your store.

25.4 oz bottle. Murky chestnut leaves a beige skin. Boozy raisins, dates and brown bread. Creamy, banana-ish body with a prominent carb tang. Similar to the regular 12 in taste but not as rich. Toffee, caramel and apple dries with yeast and alcohol. Burnt sugar finish.

Rum and raisins is how I would describe the aroma, appearance and flavor. Has a very leathery, raisin and carmel taste to it. Neat beer, glad I had the oppurtunity to partake in this brew, thanks to Agent Steve.

Pours mahogany deep brown with a foamy tan head. Nose is mat brown sugar, alcohol. Flavor is molasses, brown sugar, and rum soaked raisins, along with a touch of the alcohol burn. Extremely nice finish. Really good brew.

head is very thick, like a root beer float, nose is a bit floral with bright citrus scents- orange and lime and a little bit of hops on the nose. Flavor is rich and reminds me of roasted nuts. The palate is thick and coats the mouth
