| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 30, 2007 Bottle, 11% at De Pintelier, Groningen. The aroma is yeasty when the beer is cold and gets more spicy as it warms. Dark brown colour, getting cloudy at the bottom. Small stable tan head. The flavour is quite malty and a little sweet. Not overly so, but good. High carbonation, but OK mouthfeel. The flavour is spicy with anis and cinnamon, not as complex as I had expected. Hint of bread in the finish. Good balance.
