Bottled. A very hazy dark amber beer with a light brown head. The aroma is very powerful of fruit - especially over ripe fruits, as well as notes of berries. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of over ripe fruit and alcohol.

Pours brown with a tan head. Smells of dark fruit, spices, caramel, chocolate, earthy hops. Tastes of sweet malt with some licorice and lots of herbs and spices. Finish is malty with some underlying vanilla.

Lightly hazed rusty amber, thick tan creamy head with great lacing. Nose was rich of ripe plum, warm golden raisin bread, fig, and pear, with softer notes of anise, brown sugar, and pepper. Earthy dark fruit flavors are prevalent throughout, but are well balanced with a near perfect peppery hop component. Full bodied, medium carbonation, clean, bittersweet finish. Simply outstanding....

Bottled. Amber coloured. Unclear. Beige dense head. Ripe fruits, sweetness, light spice in the aroma. Sweetness, fruits, spices, caramel and light yeast. Is medium to full bodied. Sweetish end with notable alcoholnotes giving some warming sensations on lips and palate. Is a bit rough and unbalanced imo, but still a very nice beer.

This is great Quadrupel. Dark fruity, malty, and yeasty flavors. Finishes clean, crisp, and full flavored.

$15 750 mL bottle. When i saw this bottle i already knew about it and figured it was a rarity. Nose is a robust and sweet elixir of true Belgian yeast and dashes of spice such as ginger and cinnamon. The quad appears as a opaque dark brown with tan film across the glass. The flavor is intially tart and very hot with alcohol. Semi sweet with a sugary flavor and big malt character. Some strong spicey yeast is the biggest thing about this beer but i think this trappist ale needs a year or so to make it round out.
