Pours a murky brown colour with a good size head and good carbonation.
Very strong aroma of chocolate, fruits and roasted malt, great balance.
Taste is excellent, lovely balanced fruits and malts and goes down with a lovely bit of warmth.

Aromas of burnt malt, caramel, apple, and alcohol. Flavour is long-lasting, with sweet and bitter notes playing beautifully. Palate is creamy, and full-bodied. Brown colour, with a creamy long-lasting head. toby540 (24), Belgium

Original rating 3/8/09 (3.9 overall): 330 ml bottle - clear dark brown with rising off-white head; thick aromas of fruit, dates and sugar; medium to light body becomes slightly creamy; flavors are strong yet smooth; alcohol is hidden; slightly dry aftertaste with a lingering nuttiness; will be drinking plenty more of these down the road thedogs (5), Florida, USA does not count | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Dec 17, 2009 From a 750ml bottle. This pours a cloudy dark brown with a nice white head. Initial taste is a variety of fruits followed by maltiness and some bitterness. Sledutah (98), Utah, USA
