Hazy brown in color. Aroma is minimal. Strong anise-licorice flavor that threatens to overwhelm but then the alcohol peeks through and you get a bready finish that really lingers.

Bottle Dark brown with pale brown head, a little unclear. Aroma sweet malty, spices, dried fruits. Taste quite strong alcohol at first sip but then dangerously easy to drink. Sweet, spiced beer with notes of dried fruits.

Hazy dark ruby - thick, foamy head - fairly sweet in the nose, with a complex mix lavender, dried herbs, rose water, a light bit of earthiness underneath - full carbonation in the mouth - not as sweet at the aroma suggests - quite a bit of herbal character (thyme, mostly), as well as some wildflower notes - warming spiciness and a touch of alcohol warmth - clean sweetness and fruity character through the middle - a touch of funkiness and the faintest hint of phenolic character on the back end - lingering dried herbs in the finish - pretty good.

750 mL bottle. Pours nearly opaque, cola brown. Some head that doesn’t really last. Aroma is of sweet malt and sweet fruit, plums, raisins, and a hint of pineapple. Flavor is just as sweet as the aroma, not so fruity, but with the malt really coming through. The fruit reappears on the finish. Palate is very thick. An excellent beer.

Bottle Pours a good dark brown with a big frothy off white head. The head is foamy and lasting. Produces some good lacing. Has a good aroma of spices, dark fruits, Bubble gum, and brown sugar. Has a high carbonation. The flavor is real good. Sweet but not over done. Good spiciness with a good balance of hops and malts. The alcohol is hidden well and its blended to perfection. Has a medium to full body. The mouthfeel is excellent. Has a dry texture. The finish is great with a very pleasing aftertaste. This is just a great beer, Merry Christmas.
