| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Oct 3, 2007 Pours rusty brown with an explosive, creamy head. Yeast and citrus dominate the odor. It hits you with a malty, caramel taste that lingers softly on the palate. A nice, complex taste- I really like what they brew at Bernardus, and this is no letdown. Pastor (509), Maine, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 19, 2007 From bottle : Pours a dark cloudy copper color with a big white head. Very fruity aroma with cider dominate. The body is medium, and feels very crisp on the palate. The flavor is chocolate with fruits, mainly cherry. I think it is quite good and balanced. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 16, 2007 Draft @ Cicero’s in St. Louis: Pours a murky copper with a lush ivory head. The aroma is esthery with lots of cidery apple and cherry. Chocolatey malt joins the mix in the body, creating a chocolate covered cherry feel. Overall, the esthers are just too abundant and the complexity of the malt can’t shine through. I would like to try again in a bottle. AR (431), Georgia, USA
