090508 on bottle (thanks jason) Pours a mahogony color w/ a thick off white well laced head. Very yeasty aroma bread dough some light syruppy toffee pieces and maybe a touch of fig. Palate is well coated and lightly creamy smooth to the finish lightly carbonated, just feels good in my mouth. Flavor is sweeter some nice carmels or syrups fig/plum notes touches of bread dough. Very smooth and quite good.

Light brown with orange hints. Off-white soapy head. Thick sweet belgian aroma. Very nice. Overripe melting banana. Some chocolate hints. Flavor thins out a little with some dry dark malt, fruit, chocolate, belgian spice. Pretty good stuff.

11.2 oz. brown bottle. Freshness date of 08 17 08 on back label. Pours out a deep dark chocolate brown, with some ruby highlights. Volumous tan colored head is thick enough to float a bottle cap on. Aromas are of dark roasted malts, slight coffee notes, dried fruits, yeasty bread, and sweet malts. Flavors are about the same as the aromas. Thick, rich mouthfeel. Almost a meal in a glass. Alcohol is well hidden.

11.2oz Best before end 08 07 09. Pours a cloudy red brown with a moderate, light beige head. Aroma of nutty dust, dark fruits, very light soy, maple syrup, brown sugar and toffee. Kinda reminds me a little of a dubbel. Taste is much the same with a some tartness at the beginning, light bitterness midway through, and into a dry finish. Medium bodied, high carbonation.

A deep clear red pour with one hell of a huge head that soon fades to a small lasting off white covering. Aroma is rich and malty with a slightly carbonated dried fruit taste.

Air-cooled on our hotel room outside windowsill in Brussels. Caramel color. Creamy palate. Some dark fruit, brown sugar sweetness. Will be worth trying again after being cooled by some high-tech refrigeration.

Bottle. Poours a reddish, coppery brown with a thick, foamy head. Aroma is yeast, with spices, and floral notes. Flavor is excellent, with brown sugar, spices, caramel, and roasted oak. Mouthfeel is a bit bubbly, with the carbonation coming through nicely.
