A nice cornucopia of aromas fills the nostrils with smells of raisins, yeast, and a noticeable malt texture. The tastes are as if the smell was the beer itself, just an overall well rounded brew. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 27, 2009 Dark copper, auburn brown ish color with a playfully large head. Aroma is highly wheats and breads. It’s enjoyable but does more to highlight how good the 12 is than stand on its own. dimenhetfield (196), , Florida, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 24, 2009 Pours a murky brown color with a large creamy head. Nice lacing too. Aroma is nice - crisp and spicy with bread, yeast, and sugar. Taste is the same with a dull earthy finish. I’m generally not a fan of Belgian ales like this, but this one is quite good. Drinkable and enjoyable.
