pours a cloudy dark brown with a small head. Aroma is very nice- lots of yeast, plum, other dark fruit, and belgian spices. Flavor is great- molasses, caramel, raisin, fig, some nuts, like dates. Palate is very nice, excellent belgian strong.

Enjoyed via 12oz bottle. Pours slightly darker than the 6, but certainly not jet black. Head is fluffy and slightly off-white. The palate and aroma are both unbelievably rich with characteristic maltiness. The flavor is simply outstanding. A must for any lover of fine Belgian examples.

Amazing brew. Good dark color, great nutty aroma, belgian funky flavor. Prefer the Abt 12 but this is a good one too.

Nice to have this on tap, super tastey: Poured a dark reddish brown colour, more mahogany i supposed. Medium creamy tan head. Nutty, caramel, maple syrup notes immediately- i noticed it more because i dove in rather than sniffing around. Afterwards, i noticed that plum fruit on the nose- a little over-ripe door county cherries too. Something tart. Nice beer!

330ml bottle in the St. Bernardus glass. Plum/brown color with a small tan head. Aroma of figs, apples, cinnamon, spices. Flavor and mouthfeel are two-tiered - a sharp carbonation on top carries the spiciness, but the smooth maltiness rests below. Interesting beer.

Bottle at O´learys Copenhagen Central station. Plum-greyish colour with a smal head. Fruity and spicy taste. The carbonation is to sharp.

Bottle. Look: Strange grey-brown color. Long lasting head. Smell: Very sweet. Vanilla, fruit, spices. Taste: Fruit and honey with lots of spices added. Choclaty aftertaste.

Pours a thick and cloudy brown/amber color with a thick head. Aroma is figs, sugar and other dark fruits. Flavor is light on the spices and heavy on raisin and sweet roasted malts.
