3/15/08 - 350 ml shared with Naka and santoslhalper. Christmas BeerClub haul, courtesy of Naka. Pours yellow-gold with white head. Nose is citrus and spice, orange. Taste is malty with peach, orange, and banana, some spice, but not overpowering. This is good stuff. very balanced.

Shared w/ Juart and Santoslhalper. Pours a hazy golden apple juice color with a small white head which dissipates quickly. A beautiful nose of apples, grape, yeast and alcohol. A pretty caramely flavor with the apples and spritzy carbonation mingling nicely. Some fruity esters and a bit of a dry finish round this out nicely. The carbonation and texture combine to make a nice creamy mouthfeel.

From 33cl bottle, best before 10/10. Golden hazy body with a large foamy head leaving a medium lacing. Banana, bitter orange peel, clove, vanilla and malts in the nose. In mouth it has a light sweet start that explodes in a wonderful mix of spices and fruits. A light bitterness at the end enhances this great mix and adds complexity. Medium body and light carbonation give character to the brew and power the flavors. A great tripel!

750 bottle corked and caged poured into a trappist glass has a golden color and loads of yeasty sediment from the bottom. the head is a thick two finger that left a heavy layer with great retention. aroma has champagne yeast, lemon peel, flowers, banana, spice, and grain. mouth feel is lighter with frothy carbonation. flavors are well blended yeast, grain, malt, spice, and sweetness. has a good yeast and spice snap along with the alcohol. a little touch of apples and a finish going dry with spice and very light bitter. definitely a nice tripel, perhaps the best i have tried.

Pours hazy dark yellow with thick crown of head. Aromatically sweet with banana and other witbier-like scents as well as a grain and hop purity. Sweet but finishes very clean. Floral, a little fruity, super juicy, and just a nice, easy going, light (not interpreted by me as thin) tripel.
re-rate from draught, LeBon. Clear golden, small white head. Complex resinous aroma and dry resinous body. Soft mouthfeel. Some vodka-like elements but smooth and quaffable.
