| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 30, 2007 Updated: Jul 31, 2007750 ml corked bottle, cellared for nearly two years. Big white airy head with thick laces. First pour is slight misty copper colored (sediments is still down there) Aroma is lemony and fruity- acidic , yeasty, with whiffs of alcohol.
Taste does not live up to the aroma; some fruitiness, sugar, and a very light hopbitteernss. Medium body. Finish is not very impressive either ; light bitter and sourish. JK (2960), Richfield, Minnesota, USA

The aroma does have some alcohol as well. Flavor has fruit and sugar, and only a little alcohol. A great looking beer, well carbonated and a tall white head. Some sediment. Aged very well. Expected spice and yeast, but more apple and fruits. Effervescent mouthfeel. Musty yeast and dry, fruity tartness blend well with the nutmeg-like sweetness. A very good beer. Sort of a flowery undescribable fruity flavor and great long aftertaste. For a tripel it is undeniably smooth and has a great flavor from start to finish elmatador00 (518), j-action-ville, North Carolina, USA
